DNS
DNS is a major player in internet operation -- it can control
whether someone sees your website or receives an email. If your
DNS is slow or inconsistent, you're going to get overlooked.
Don't you want to put your name to IP matching in the control

DNS consists of a series of primary and secondary servers. In
order for DNS to be effective, it is necessary to have authoritative
servers present at the 'hotpoints' of the net. Through long-term
relationships with our vendors and associates in the IT business,
we have constructed a highly resilient DNS infrastructure. Our
servers are present on 5 diverse provider backbones on both
coasts of the United States.
Why shouldn't I just have my upstream provider handle
my zones?
Good question, especially since they most likely offer it for
free. Your upstream is exactly that, ONE upstream. It is extremely
important to link your domains to redundant, diverse routed
paths for maximum effectiveness. Many of us don't have the benefit
of being able to turn to several tier-1 backbone companies to
do our domains. Saturated makes use of a combination of Tier-1
DNS servers as well as our own to build a DNS that works.
